An experienced practitioner, Ahmed Benbouzid works particularly in the fields of entrepreneurship, microfinance, social innovation and regional and local development.
Ahmed Benbouzid has held leadership positions in various organizations, including Director of Social Innovation and Diversity at the Conférence régionale des élus de Montréal and Director of Metropolitan Diversity Development at the Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montreal. He is currently Executive Director of MicroEntreprendre, the entrepreneurial microcredit network in Quebec.
A committed intrapreneur, Ahmed Benbouzid has sat on several boards of directors, including: the Conseil Régional des Partenaires du Marché de Travail de Montréal (CRPMT), the Conseil interculturel de Montréal, Réseau Qualification Montréal, Réseau réussite Montréal, and the Conseil des Industries Bioalimentaires de l’Île de Montréal (CIBIM). He is also a director of the Chantier d’économie sociale, CAP Finance and TIESS (Territoires innovants en économie sociale et solidaire).
